The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is gripping, graphic and suitably moody. Its leading pair, the eponymous girl Lisbeth Salander (Noomi Rapace) and disgraced journalist Mikael Blomkvist (Michael Myqvist from As It Is In Heaven) are well mismatched.
Tourism Sweden will never use this movie as any sort of advertisement, but the cold and gloom are a real presence in this film.
